Chappa Kurish – curious!!!!!!
This is one film I am extremely curious to see how audience would react. The director, the cinematographer and so many other people working in this film are debutants. For the first time in a film set, I am seeing so many people who are less than 30 years of age. All of them know that they are dealing with a very different yet risky subject. But the director, Sameer C Thahir [cinematographer of BigB, Daddy Cool] and his team are ready to take up the challenge and work towards something which I think is totally new.
If this movie works the way it is intended to, an era of independent cinema is not very far.
“Chappa Kurish” is in the making. Keep us in ur prayers guys

Another dream.. ready to kick start..
Past few days, myself along with the rest of the band members had only one thing to do.Practice. Every song was approached differently and every one had their creative inputs to deliver. Personally it was so much of satisfaction. After a long time, I had such long hours of practice. There was a surprise with every song. All of them were re interpreted and it was absolutely crazy!!
By god’s grace, on 24th dec evening, when Malarvaadi Orkestra goes on stage for the first time at Al Nasr leisureland – Dubai, if we could do everything the way we did on our practice sessions – my heart says it sure would make a difference.
I hope that this small step would transform itself into a big leap.

our posters!!
it’s all worth it!!
March 3rd was a great day!! It was greater than I imagined. Almost everyone we expected dropped in for pooja and made it a memorable event. All of them spoke very positively about the project. I could sense the kind of expectation they all ve. On one side its making me a lot nervous, but on the other side it’s a great feeling to know that the legends of Malayalam cinema has some kind of anticipation from a novice like me.
There is so much of work to be done guys.. I can’t let them down.
Yesterday after the pooja, one of the lead characters of our film, “kuttu,” introduced me to his parents. His mother said something that I can never forget. “Vineeth, I am leaving my son to u.” I really didn’t know what to tell her. I was standing in front of her, baffled, trying to give a smile. It was as if a parent is telling a teacher to take care of her kid on the first day of K.G.
My job’s responsibility is huge. Everyday it seems to be growing bigger..
Anyways, here’s something that I wanted to show u guys. OUR FIRST POSTER!!
Mammotty uncle revealed it out to the press and public yesterday in pooja. It was one big moment for me guys. These are my heroes. The characters who stole almost one year of my life, my scripting days. Shaping them up in paper was a real big task. But now when I see this, I get this feeling that it’s all worth it!!!!
