hi everyone, how have u all been doing.. it’s been really really long since i blogged.. i feel like i have lost the hold on my language.. words are not coming that easily as it used to.. but i am smiling when i am writing this.. it feels like home to be here.. it’s not like regular social networking.. this blog has built a beautiful two way street b/w u guys and me; sorry for not showing up for so long.. i have been running around with work for a while now.. facebooking is fast and easy and like anyone else i also resort to that quite often.. but it’s nothing like this.. there is no negativity here when i blog.. it felt like that in 2009 when i started, it feels the same even now!! i am at Dubai airport right now, returning home after a few days of stay here.. i came here for a stage show.. well that’s only the work part of it.. the actual reason i came here is something else.. i came here to speak to some people.. some people who are inspiring me to conceive my next film.. some people whom i have known like family.. i am writing my next film based on certain real life incidents of real people whom i have known quite closely for a few years now.. this might be the toughest film for me to write.. infact, i don’t even know if i ll be able to put everything on paper as beautifully as the dream i have about this film in my head.. i have written three films so far and everytime, it’s only becoming tougher.. i really really hope i do my best work this time.. Because this time, it’s more than work.. this movie involves a few people who are very close to my heart.. i know that the people who come here really do care.. u guys have told me several things through ur comments over the years which i have read and got inspired from,several times.. this time, i am asking u guys a favour.. keep me in your prayers.. i strongly believe in prayers.. and this time i am going to need a lot of them, because this film.. this story; is beyond my talent and calibre to be written.. i am going to try hard to reach there.. i hope i ll be able to.. my wishes to all u guys.. do the best for urself.. take care of ur health.. vineeth

But “Thattathin Marayathu” was the first Malayalam film i have seen and i am really very impressed with the lovely feel u carried out throughout the film. Whenever i feel sad, i’ll watch it and that film makes me happy!

Hi Vineethetan… I could recently saw an Interview given by you for the program STAR JAM(sorry that iam not sure about the channel),in which you said about palakkad and its village places. Since iam from palakkad, its so nice from you to hear that you like the scenic beauty here and there from palakkad. Also u had told about Pallassena, Pallavur, koduvayur andall.. There is a small village inbetween all this 3 places, named KAKKAYUR. Iam not sure whether you have come across this place,but iam sure that you may have passby this lovely village once or many. If you have’nt visited Kakkayur yet, then i make this oppurtunity to invite you to my village KAKKAYUR once and to make a shoot location the next time :-p

I would love to see a Malayalam version of Kabhi Haan Kabhi Naa a 1994 Hindi romantic comedy film. This is one of the rare mainstream Hindi movies in which the hero plays the role of a loser. It is my favorite film.

Vineeth, have u noticed Anumol , the girl who is acting in the Tamil version of Shelter? She is a potential actress and very bold also right from her school days. If what I know is correct, she was even able to climb a coconut tree and drive well when she was in her teens. The other day I happened to see an article in which it was mentioned that kudumbasree members r taught to climb coconut trees using machines. I think u can do a film with kudumbasree as the plot.It is a silent revolution in Kerala, but by saying that women r being empowered, part of the effort makes men lazy. U can have ur comedy with that but still make a woman centric movie. And I feel that Anumol will be best suitable as the heroin. Please do think.

I love Nivin’s acting esp how he has performed well in Premam, Actin Hero Biju and all..but I felt Jerry’s character, Dulqer would have been apt! Hey i dont know if you will read this or not because the post itself is from 2015. I just want to ask that how can i apply to audition in a movie.. Like how can i know that the place where i ally is real or fake from past experience i have faced many problems and actually i am from delhi so i search for the audition online but i always find the fake one and i really want to entertain people through my acting skills and i am also sode by side graduating in music. സിനിമാ മോഹം പണ്ട് തൊട്ടേ ഉണ്ടെങ്കിലും, ക്രിക്കറ്റായിരുന്നു ഒരു പരിധിവരെ ആ മോഹത്തെ മനസ്സിൽ തന്നെ അടക്കി വെപ്പിച്ചത്.
പക്ഷേ 2012 ൽ തട്ടത്തിൻ മറയത്ത് ഇറങ്ങിയതോടെ പണ്ട് തോട്ടേ ഉള്ള ആ ഇഷ്ട്ടം ഒന്ന് കൂടെ ഉഷാറായി,
അങ്ങനെ നിക്കുമ്പോ കുറച്ച് കഴിയുമ്പോഴേക്ക് ക്രിക്കറ്റ് ദൈവം സച്ചിൻ ക്രീസ് വിട്ടു…. അന്നാണ് മനസ്സിലായത് ക്രിക്കറ്റിനെക്കാൾ ഒരു പടി മുകളിൽ നമ്മൾ സ്നേഹിച്ചത് സച്ചിനെ ആയിരുന്നൂന്ന്. പണ്ടൊക്കെ ന്യൂസിലാന്റിനെതിരെയും ആസ്ത്രേലിയക്കെതിരെയും അവരുടെ നാട്ടിൽ പോയി ഇന്ത്യ കളിക്കുമ്പോ, അലാറം വച്ച് പുലർച്ചക്ക്, ക്രിക്കറ്റ് ടെസ്റ്റ് വരെ കണ്ടോടിരുന്ന നമ്മൾ സച്ചിൻ പോയപ്പോ ക്രിക്കറ്റ് തന്നെ മറന്നു.
ആ ഗ്യാപ്പിലാണ് വിനീത് ശ്രീനിവാസനിലൂടെ തട്ടത്തിൻ മറയത്തിലൂടെ നിവിൻ പോളിയിലൂടെ, സച്ചിൻ ക്രിക്കറ്റിലൂടെ തന്നു കൊണ്ടിരുന്ന പോലെ ഒരാവേശം മലയാള സിനിമയിലൂടെ തിരിച്ച് തരുന്നത്.
ഇന്ത്യയിൽ ആദ്യായി ക്രിക്കറ്റ് തുടങ്ങിയ തലശ്ശേരി തന്നെയാ കേട്ടാ.. വിനീതിന്റെ തട്ടത്തിൻ മറയത്തും ഒരുങ്ങിയത്.

പ്രണവ് മോഹൻലാൽ അഭിനയിച്ച ‘ഹൃദയം’ കണ്ടോ? എന്ന് പല സുഹൃത്തുക്കളും എന്നോട് ചോദിച്ചിരുന്നു. കാണാൻ ഇതുവരെ സാധിച്ചിട്ടില്ല. പക്ഷേ, അതേ ചിത്രത്തിൽ ഉൾപ്പെടുത്തിയിരിക്കുന്ന ത്യാഗരാജ സ്വാമികളുടെ ഒരു കൃതി കേട്ടു. വല്ലാതെ വിഷമം തോന്നി. ഒരു ചലച്ചിത്രമാവുമ്പോൾ അതിൽ പല പരീക്ഷണങ്ങളും വേണ്ടി വരും.തർക്കമില്ല. പക്ഷേ, സംഗീത സാഗരമായ ത്യാഗരാജ സ്വാമികളുടെ ഒരു കൃതി എടുത്ത് ചലച്ചിത്രത്തിൽ ഉപയോഗിക്കുമ്പോൾ വളരെ നേർത്ത ന്യൂനപക്ഷമായ കർണാടക സംഗീത പ്രേമികളുടെ മനോനിലയെ കണക്കിലെടുത്തിരുന്നുവെങ്കിൽ എന്ന് പ്രത്യാശിച്ചു പോയി.
വിവാഹമന്ത്രത്തെ അപഹസിക്കുന്ന പാട്ട് ചിട്ടപ്പെടുത്തിയ ഗോപീ സുന്ദറിന് ശേഷം ഭക്തിയുടെ ഉത്തുംഗപദമായ ശരണാഗതി തത്വത്തെ തൻ്റെ കൃതികളിലൂടെ വെളിപ്പെടുത്തിയ ത്യാഗബ്രഹ്മത്തെ കളിയാക്കുംവിധമല്ലേ ” നഗു മോമു കന ലേനി” എന്ന കൃതി ‘ഹൃദയ’ത്തിൽ ഉൾപ്പെടുത്തിയിരിക്കുന്നത് എന്നൊരു വേദന തോന്നുന്നു.
രണ്ടു മനുഷ്യർ തമ്മിലുള്ള മാംസനിബദ്ധമായ പ്രേമമല്ല, മറിച്ച്, ഈശ്വരനും ഭക്തനും തമ്മിലുള്ള ആത്മനിവേദനത്തിൻ്റെ ഭാഷയാണ് ത്യാഗരാജ സ്വാമികളുടെ പ്രസ്തുത കൃതി.
ഖരഹരപ്രിയയുടെ ജന്യ രാഗമായ ആഭേരിയിലാണ് നഗു മോമു എന്ന കൃതി ചിട്ടപ്പെടുത്തിയിരിക്കുന്നത്.ശ്രീ രഘുവരനോട് ,സാക്ഷാൽ ശ്രീരാമചന്ദ്ര സ്വാമിയോട് ഭക്തൻ നടത്തുന്ന പരിഭവം കലർന്ന പ്രാർത്ഥനയാണ്.
“തെലിസി ന ജാലി ലേനി കന നീ നഗു രാദ ബ്രോവ നന്നു?” ” ശ്രീ രഘുവര, എൻ്റെ പരിതാപകരമായ ഈ അവസ്ഥ ( നാ ജാല) തെലിസി(മനസിലാക്കിയിട്ട് ) അതായത്, ഭഗവാൻ്റെ തിരുമുഖം കാണുവാൻ കഴിയാത്ത ഈ പരിതാപകരമായ അവസ്ഥ തിരിച്ചറിഞ്ഞ് അവിടുത്തെ പുഞ്ചിരിക്കുന്ന (നഗു) തിരുമുഖം (മോമു ) കാട്ടി എന്നെ(നന്നു ) സംരക്ഷിക്കുവാൻ(ബ്രോവ) സാധിക്കില്ലേ?( രാദ?)
ഇതാണ് പല്ലവിയിലെ സാഹിത്യം. എന്തിനും ശക്തനായ സാക്ഷാൽ മഹാവിഷ്ണുവായ ശ്രീരാമചന്ദ്രസ്വാമിക്ക് ഈ ഏഴയെ രക്ഷിക്കുവാൻ എന്തേ താമസം? എന്നതാണ് കൃതിയുടെ അന്തഃസത്ത.
അനുപല്ലവിയിൽ, മന്ദരപർവ്വതത്തെ സ്വന്തം മുതുകിലേറ്റി ഉയർത്തിയ നാരായണാ, ”നഗ രാജ” (പർവ്വത രാജനായ മന്ദരപർവ്വതത്തെ), നഗ ശബ്ദത്തിൻ്റെ ഉൽപത്തി ഗമിക്കാത്തത്, ഉറച്ചത് (ന-ഗ) എന്നാണ്.
എൻ്റെയീ അവസ്ഥ കണ്ടിട്ടും നിൻ്റെ പരിവാരത്തിലുള്ളവർ ( നീഡു പരിവാരുലു ) ഉടനെയെത്തി എൻ്റെ ദു:ഖം തീർക്കുവാനുള്ള ഉപദേശം (ഒഗി ബോധന) നിനക്കു നൽകുന്നില്ലേ?
ഖഗം-പക്ഷി.ഖഗ രാജു(പക്ഷി രാജാവായ ഗരുഡൻ) വേഗ ( വേഗം) ചന(പുറപ്പെട്ടില്ല?) വിനി നീ ആനതി( നിൻ്റെ നിർദ്ദേശം കേട്ട്).
വൈകുണ്ഠത്തിൽ നിന്നും ബഹുദൂരം സഞ്ചരിച്ചാലേ ഭൂമിയിലെത്തൂ എന്ന് ഗരുഡൻ ഉദാസീനതയോടെ ഒഴിവുകഴിവു പറഞ്ഞുവോ? ബഹുദൂരംബു(വളരെ ദൂരം) എന്ന് അനിനാഡോ?( പറഞ്ഞുവോ?) ഗഗനാകി(ആകാശത്തിൽ നിന്നും, അഥവാ വൈകുണ്ഠത്തിൽ നിന്നും) ഇലകു(ഭൂമിയിലേക്ക്).
ഗജേന്ദ്ര മോക്ഷ സന്ദർഭം മനസിൽ കരുതിയാവാം ത്യാഗരാജ സ്വാമികൾ ഇതെഴുതിയത്.
ജഗമു ഏലേ പരമാത്മാ(ഈ ജഗത്തു മുഴുവൻ പരിപാലിക്കുന്ന പരമാത്മാവേ). പാടുമ്പോൾ ജഗമു + ഏലേ എന്നത് “ജഗമേലേ” എന്ന് ചേർത്തു പാടും.
“എവരിതോ നേ”(നിന്നോടല്ലാതെ വേറെ ആരോടാണു ഞാൻ)മൊറലു ഇഡുദു( പരാതിപ്പെടേണ്ടത് ?) മറ്റു തിരക്കുകൾ അഭിനയിക്കാതെ(ജൂപകു വഗ), എനിക്ക് അതു താങ്ങാനാവില്ല(താളനു).
ദയവായി എന്നെ (നന്നു) ഏലുകോരാ(ഭരിച്ചാലും, നയിച്ചാലും). പാടുമ്പോൾ “നന്നേലുകോരാ” എന്നാവും. ത്യാഗരാജനാൽ സ്തുതിക്കപ്പെട്ട(ത്യാഗരാജ നുത) നീ( നിൻ്റെ ) നഗു മോമു…… തിരുമുഖദർശനത്തിനായുഴറുന്ന എൻ്റെ ഗതി കണ്ട് എന്നെ സംരക്ഷിച്ചു കൂടെ?
ഇത്ര മധുരമായ ശരണാഗതി പ്രാർത്ഥന ചലച്ചിത്രത്തിൽ ഏതു രംഗത്തിന് കൊഴുപ്പു കൂട്ടാനാണ് ഉപയോഗിച്ചിരിക്കുന്നത് എന്ന് എനിക്കറിയില്ല. പക്ഷേ, സംഗീതം ഈശ്വരീയമാണ്. രാഗങ്ങൾ മന്ത്രസമാനമാണ്. എടുത്തു പയറ്റുമ്പോൾ അർത്ഥവും പ്രയോഗവും അറിഞ്ഞേ തീരൂ. അല്ലെങ്കിൽ നിഗ്രഹാനുഗ്രഹ ശക്തികളുള്ള രാഗദേവതകൾ അസ്വസ്ഥരാവും.
ഇനി,ചലച്ചിത്രത്തിൽ പാടിയ വ്യക്തി നൂറു ശതമാനം അനീതി പുലർത്തി എന്നു പറഞ്ഞേ തീരൂ.മേൽ സ്ഥായിയിൽ വെള്ളി മെഡൽ വാങ്ങിക്കൂട്ടുന്ന ആരുടെയോ പിന്മുറക്കാരനാണെന്നു തോന്നുന്നു. പാട്ടുകാരനോട് പറയുവാനുള്ളത് ഇത്രമാത്രം, ദയവായി ശ്രീ ശെമ്മാങ്കുടി ശ്രീനിവാസയ്യർ ഈ കൃതി പാടിയത് ഒരു നൂറു തവണ കേട്ട് പാടി പഠിക്കുക. ദയവായി കർണാടക സംഗീതത്തെ കൊല്ലാക്കൊല ചെയ്ത് ശ്രീ രഘുവര രാമൻ്റെ കോപത്തിന് പാത്രമാവരുതേ എന്ന് അഭ്യർത്ഥിക്കുന്നു.
