      Hi Vineet,

I wanted to talk to you about a work.
I had written a song and wanted your help for the same. It has been tuned, but I wanted to give it some life.

No surprise to hear Manmohan Singh’s silence and Pawar’s words..We all know that money rules our country..That’s the same thing which bonds our leaders with the endosulfan..As they say,it’s a pesticide of cheap rate…!
Still we are destined to live in a democratic India..!
Glad that u wrote abt this issue and that too wonderfully:)

Really sad to hear this. Looks like Manmohan Singh is not gonna take any actions until the studies comes out, which is really pointless when people are here dying due to Endosulfan. I hope he won’t leave this matter like he did with 2G spectrum and the Commonwealth controversy. Hats off to Oomen Chandy and Achumama for their hunger strike…Let’s hope that their time and energy for this won’t be wasted. Also want to thank the Youth Congress in Calicut for the petition which has been signed in blood!

I really hope Manmohan Singh changes his mind and Sharad Pawar really need to leave this country ASAP…

i dont understand why they want more proof. so many people are suffering and any person with sense can understand that endosulfan is the cause. if these politicians are so sure its not the cause let them prove it but until they are able to prove they should ban this. who r they trying to protect? are the crops more important than human lives?

not only in karsargod vineeth, we are bringing vegetables from karnataka and tamilnadu. As am staying in a village in Karnataka, i know it clearly that here the people thinks it is a fertiliser and the agents made them to think like this. These people begins their day with moving to their land with a pump to get this “fertiliser” to their plants.

Its high time that all of us, come together, in protest against this drug.
One thing we very well know is that unless the country unites in protest, we may witness no change.
We understand now that, we become fools by trusting politicians to do anything. Well, what do they have to care if some innocent people die in a country with 120cr.+ population?
Let us join together in our protest or else we might end up ashamed of ourselves in future.

If endosulfan is harming one end of kerala, Alcahol is harming the
whole of kerala. I dont have any damn sentimence for people who hate endosulfan
    but keep silent against alcahol!!!!!!!!!!

89 crore, 95 crore, 98 crore why no one is seeing these records??????

How many of you have seen a bottle of endosulfan and how many of you have
seen a bottle of alcahol which lables “Drinking is injurious to health”………….

Just read Endosulfan companys 70 % market is India ..:)..Surely they cannot leave their market like that ..
Just had to how many million dollars of “blood money” ENDOSULFAN dumped to the pocket of these politicians …Its really a worrying fact that India is becoming a haven of corporates and corrupt politicians …Common man is becoming least important …

Vineeth… It’s ok to be sarcastic about Indians(politicians in particular)… But you should’ve avoided the “Bharath mata ki jai” phrase in the end… Endosulfan must be banned… But please don’t be sarcastic about our mother nation in particular….

But I can understand the disturbance you are going through… We all share the same space here and united we stand on this issue – BAN ENDOSULFAN.

    • May 19, 2011 at 2:03 am

hi all i knw this post is quite late nd already ENDOSULPHAN is banned, ya good, it seems finally “people’s voice” was heard………..but alas r v missing smthng
i’m nt denying the heartbreakng stories frm kozhikode nd places,…..bt is banning ENDOSULPHAN the only solution. it should b noted tht most of the casualties of these was not just because of the chemical itself, but because of the way it was used, According to the guidelines such chemicals should not applied from the sky which leads to maximum exposure and especially with the case of uncovered water bodies….but that was what happened here, in case of toxicity i guess govt hav kept a blind eye to the problems in the very heart of the “industrial capital” ernakulam…the ‘vyavasaya mekhala’ is literally bleeding death to Periyar , making her red with chemicals from nearly 77 major industries.l… the casuality rate is higher ther, but y no1 is taking heed of it….
Keeping this alll in mind, come bak 2 Endosulphan issue, there was an economics behind it, as countries like India and China being major exporters and the volume of money it may bring in, so do keep a sleek space 4 doubtng a foul play or ‘lobbying’ b4 hailing 4 Bans like this
