i just created the first folder in my laptop in the name of my next film.. feels good.. there is a low, diffused light in the corner of the room.. and the incense sticks that i burnt a few mins back have died out.. room is filled with its fragrance.. A4 sheets are dirtied with my unbearable hand writing.. amidst all this, a dream is in the making!!!!

Hey, I had written a comment for your Malarvaadikoottam 100 days blog..It had some negative points in it…But it was after some 100 comments. So you might not have read it…Its was not meant to demoralize you or something. It was because I felt you have immense potential and knowledge about cinema and world…From your blogs I came to know that you have been travelling for sometime and visited many places..I expect mellow and touching movies from a person like you…I am a part of this generation but I am really worried about how bad our movies are ….Leave world cinema…Think about our 80s and 90s…Think about geniuses like Padmarajan, Bharathan….Why is it not happening again??? but i am not all inspired from vineeth’s first movie malarwadi
arts club. it had nothing other than copying rock on , dil chahta hai.
it was too predictable , even before first half of the movie we can
get to know the climax. vineeth has to understand the fact that malarwadi
was nothing more than a average script.
lets hope new love story can be called as original.
Malarwadi did’nt had a good script, its hard to say but comedy was b-grade.
it was really weak at some portions , shaan’s music was excellent
especially “mangalam koodan…..” also BG Score by gopi sundar
was good. I feel shaan rockss in new movie too.
I too agree , shaan’s music was really good in the movie.
He is a real talentful guy. Shaan should work with roshan andrews,
blessy, renjith and other directors.
“Mangalam Koodan” was a nice song one of my personal favourite.

We have been eagerly waiting to watch Thira but was stopped at the theatre counter because children below 15 cannot be allowed to enter. My daughter and son being only 9 and 4, we had to return dissapointed. This happened at Sharjah Mega Mall Cineplex. However no such issues were there at the Fujairah Dana Cineplex. B.E പഠിച്ചത് ലോണിലാണ്. അതുകൊണ്ട് തന്നെ എനിക്ക് വീട്ടില് കുറച്ചുകൂടി പൈസ ചോദിച്ചു അവരെ ബുദ്ധിമുട്ടിക്കാന് വയ്യ. എന്നാലും ഞാന് ഒരു ശ്രമം നടത്തി. neo സ്കൂള് of സിനിമ യില് ചേരാന് ശ്രമിച്ചു. ഇത് കേട്ടതോടെ എന്റെ വീട്ടുകാര് എന്നെ കളിയാക്കി ചിരിച്ചു തള്ളി. എന്നാല് കൂട്ടുകാരോടൊപ്പം ചേര്ന്ന് ഒരു ഷോര്ട്ട് ഫിലിം ചെയ്യാം എന്ന് വിചാരിച്ചു, പക്ഷെ ഒരുത്തന് പോലും ഇല്ല എന്നെ ഉന്തി തള്ളിവിടാന്. എല്ലാവരും പറയുന്നത് നിനക്ക് വേറെ പണിയില്ലേ എന്നാണു. ആരും എനിക്ക് കൂട്ടില്ലാതെ ഇരിക്കുമ്പോളാണ് ഒരുത്തന് വരുന്നത്…. അവനാണെങ്കില് കുറച്ചു ചിക്ലി ഉള്ള വീട്ടിലെയാണ്. ഞാന് അവനോടു എന്റെ ഒരു കഥ പറഞ്ഞു. അത് കേട്ടതോടെ അവന് ഫ്ലാറ്റ്. അവനു പറഞ്ഞു കൊടുത്തത് ഒരു സിനിമക്ക്ചേര്ന്ന കഥയാണ്. ഞങ്ങള് ഷോര്ട്ട് ഫിലിം ചെയ്യാന് തീരുമാനിച്ചു. ഞാന് ഒരു കഥ പറഞ്ഞു. നൊസ്റ്റാള്ജിയ ആണ് വിഷയമയിരുന്നത്. അതും അവനിഷ്ടപ്പെട്ടു. പക്ഷെ അതില് അഭിനയിക്കാന് ഒരുപാട് കഥാപാത്രങ്ങള് വേണ്ടതുണ്ടായിരുന്നു എന്നാണു പരാതി. അങ്ങനെ ആ കഥ അവിടെ അവസാനിച്ചു. ഞാന് വിട്ടില്ല, ഞാന് അടുത്ത കഥയുണ്ടാക്കി. അതൊരു സ്വഭാവവും അതുകൊണ്ട് ഉണ്ടാകുന്ന ശ്രദ്ധക്കുറവില് സംഭവിക്കുന്ന accident ഉം ആണ് അതിന്റെ ഇതിവൃത്തം. അതില് തന്നെ മൂന്നു പേരുടെ പല സ്വഭാവങ്ങള് ഉള്കൊണ്ടിരുന്നു. ആകെ നാല് പേര് ഉള്ള ഷോര്ട്ട് ഫിലിം. അവന് പറഞ്ഞു നമുക്കിത് ചെയ്യാം എന്ന്. ഞാന് അതും വിശ്വസിച്ച് ഒരു സ്ക്രിപ്റ്റ് റെഡിയാക്കാം എന്നുകരുതി എഴുതിത്തുടങ്ങി. പകുതി വരെ ഞാന് എഴുതി വച്ചു. കുറച്ചുനാള് ആയല്ലോ വിളിച്ചിട്ട് എന്നുകരുതി വിളിച്ചപ്പോള് അവന് ഫോണ് എടുക്കുന്നില്ല. ഞാന് FB യില് മെസേജ് ചെയ്തിട്ടും റിപ്ലെ ഇല്ല, അങ്ങനെ എനിക്ക് മനസ്സിലായി അവനും എന്നെ തഴഞ്ഞു എന്ന്. ഒരിക്കലും ഞാന് ചേട്ടനോട് ഡയറക്റ്റ് എടുക്കണം എന്നല്ല പറയുന്നത് എന്നെ ടെസ്റ്റ് ചെയ്ത് എടുത്താല് മതി. അത്യാവശ്യം അഭിനയം, പാട്ട്, കഥ എഴ്ത്ത്, എന്നിവ എനിക്കുണ്ട്. എനിക്ക് ഏറ്റവും ഇഷ്ടപ്പെട്ട ഇംഗ്ലീഷ്

I am also happy to note that recently a bunch of youngsters are making classics in Malayalam film industry like you, Alphose Puthren, Nivin, Sabareesh, Shaan, Aju etc. (Sorry if I left some names). Normally in my town Malayalam films are not so popular since the Malayalee population is very less compared to Coimbatore and Chennai.
First of all I would like to say that I am a fan of you and Nivin especially after Premam. I also appreciate your multi talented face. My first preference among your skills is your voice and also the singing. The top two are Aluva puzhayude in Premam and Ee Shishirakaalam in JSR. I used to hear Ee shishirakaalam very often since it is my ringtone. 🙂
The picturisation was very good which goes along with the song and it creates a vibration in my inner feelings. Superb thought and outcome. I am, being a man in my late fiftees, I watched some of your films of your Dad Mr.Sreenivasan and when I compare you with him, I find lot of similarities especially the body language and the smile.

Atul here. Working in Infosys, Trivandrum. Your work in Jacobinte Swargarajyam, was a GEM. When i was a kid, i had once asked my Father who was his favorite actor and he said, “Sreenivasan”. To be frank i was more towards action and dialogues in my childhood and never used to understand essence of the movie. I am talking about the age of 8-10. 🙂 When he said like that, i replied, “Sreenivasan..?” Why..? Whats in him..? He doesn’t even look good.” Really i said like that when i was that age. He gave a genuine reply with a grin. “You will not understand now”.. Later in life when i realized, his story has a Hero, and thats not himself and his role in the story would be something no body could think of, and people will appreciate more on that performance than the one of Hero”s performance..
I went for Jacob’s Swargarajyam wth my parents and my Father has an equally awestruck response seeing it that he said, he hasnt seen since the time of Vadakkunokiyanthram or Chintavishtayaya Shyamala.. I felt like, Jacob, the real person whose real life incidents was the movie based on, i felt the real ones may not have been so happening or interesting, whatever we saw was just the result of how you analyzed the emotions behind the story and the way you delivered it.. There was a lot each family could relate from this movie with their own life. It was a tedious homework again.. 🙂
I read that you have over 3500 portfolios with you already.. 🙂 I am really passionate to work for a movie.. I never got to know whom to meet, where to go for auditions.. Met few small directors, they ended up asking huge amounts i couldnt bear.. One day i may get to see you.. 🙂 I will find out, which charecter inside me will fit your script..
