A few minutes back I was listening to the final master audio [first audio cd] of “Malarvaadi Arts Club” in my car along with Shaan, while driving back home after having dinner. At the 1st track, I geared down the car from 3rd to 2nd. At the 2nd track, I geared it further down from 2nd to 1st. At the 3rd track, we reached the parking lot. At the 4th track I closed my eyes. For the first time, I was listening to our songs in Malarvaadi without being judgemental. I wasn’t complaining about anything at all. After finishing the final track of “Malarvaadi Arts Club” i wasn’t excited or overjoyed. I just felt a strange calmness. When I opened my eyes and looked at Shaan, he also had almost the same feeling. I could see it in his eyes!!
One and a half years of work has finally narrowed down to an audio cd, which will be out in stores within a few weeks. I am keeping my fingers crossed.

Now this is too bad, you are showing the pic of the audio CD without letting me hear the songs……. Anyway, thanks for the pictures, you look OK after the grueling shoot schedule. I can see the box of Ferrero Rocher chocolates on the table, celebration time!. Good to hear that finally your mind is settling to a ‘strange calmness’..great! You deserve that feeling after all the stress and strain.
I am doing good, had a series of stressful meetings, now am a little free for a few weeks, in a state of ‘strange calmness’… Waiting for more news from you… Take care….

I am waiting for the audio … may be more important for me than the movie…If the audio is clicked we can feel the beginning of MAC … 🙂 waiting for it…waiting for it….waiting for it… Om Anti Piracy aaya Namaha….I request all my friends to buy the original CD of the audio and not to buy the pirated disc or depend downloads from internet…If you really want to enjoy the full quality of the audio you must buy the Audio Track from you nearest audio shop….

Please don’t take it the wrong way, but I hear plagiarism charges against your father. This is the second in recent times. Do you believe there is any truth in it? Or is it just an attempt to piggyback the success of SREENIVASAN and get some cheap publicity?
To be frank with you, when I wrote my first novel, my friends suggested that I show it to your father, and I have a few friends who knows your father. But one of them expressed some concern. That he might read it, then reject it, but few months later it would be coming out as his own. I would like to get your take on it.

Are you speaking for Vineeth? I admire his talents & skills, but do you really think, if it had not been for Sreenivasan’s son, would he make it this big, this fast? You can express your views about the topic of the forum,the film Malarvaadi Arts Club ofcourse, the director who is the owner of the blog n stuff regarding the topic (Kp in mind the fact that the topic wer u posted your comment is “A strange calmness”, and it has a subject wich your comment has nuthn to do with). And please,the sentences “plagiarism charges against your father” and “I was just asking a simple question” doesnt go well together n you trying to ‘air your anguish’ in this forum or topic wer the guy just wrote his heart out is highly irrational. Thanks for a much, much civilized response. But I refute some of the remarks in your comment. the first one is this blog being about Malarvaadi, the film. No, this is not only about Malarvaadi, but about Vineeth Sreenivasan. It happens so that the current project of the owner of this blog, and writes about it. But when this project is finished he will write about other things too, I am damn sure.
True, my comments were not appropriate since this blog has nothing to do with Sreeniyettan. But as an ardent fan of his (only his, not vineeth’s, at least yet) I was shocked, and just asking Vineeth, as a son, how to do you feel about these malicious attak against his father. I don’t expect him to say, “Yeah Mr. Shinu, the charges are true. He does that on a regular basis”.
You have taken my comment out of context and put in highlight parts, which is highly misleading. I said “I HEAR plagiarism charges..” not PLAGIARISM CHARGES. It is totally different thing. What I meant to say is it was all over in the newspapers and tried to start a discussion of wrongs and rights in reporting and generally script writing practices. I mean thousands of people must have told their stories to Sreeniyettan and one or two must have influenced his latest ideas. But remember the controversy regarding the 3 Idiots. Mr. Chetan Bhagat, whom I ardently follow, had some issues and they sorted it out amicably.
Finally I don’t think my comments were irrational. Since Vineeth is the son of Sreeniyettan, the message may reach him. That his true fans are little upset about this recurring allegations. my intentions were just that.
