guys, we packed up!!!

26^th april early morning, after having the final shot of “Malarvaadi Arts Club”  taken, Vytilla  junction heard the loudest screaming it ever had. Such was the excitement we all had. Having shot continuously for 46 days, when finally it was over, we had our unstoppable adrenalin gushing out. For many of us, it was hard to believe that the shoot is over. You heard it right guys, Malarvaadi Arts Club ‘s shoot is completed!!! My first film is wrapped up!!

You guys can imagine how good it feels to say it. For all the planning and preparations that we took, I should say we didn’t go wrong. We were lucky to have shot in some real difficult locations under more difficult circumstances. Yet, we got what we wanted. I could befriend some wonderful people in the process. Suku ettan – a visionary who would see things beyond a view finder, Prajith ettan, my chief associate director who wouldn’t miss a single detail with his impeccable charting abilities, and Vinod ettan, my production controller, the master brain behind all the planning…. And how can I forget my five heroes?? Its such a big fortune that out of so many who sent their portfolio, we picked these guys!! I don’t think any others could ve done better than them. The effort that they took to make this movie happen is amazing!!

Couple of days back, when I spoke to dileep ettan, he seemed to be really happy. He spoke very high of the strain that we took in making this film right on schedule. But that happened only because he provided us with everything that we wanted. We didn’t have any shortage of requirements anytime during the shoot. Having a producer like this, is a great gift!!

I ve got millions of images overlapping in front of my retina when I think about the last one and a half months. With no doubt, I can say that these days were the most meaningful days of my life. One hell of a journey it was. God, life, destiny everything seemed to be favoring us. Now there’s a lot more work remaining to be done. But they are my fav’s. Editing, Background score, Mixing – I just love them all.

Infact, today we are starting the final mixing of our songs. I better get going b’coz shaan ‘s almost ready to leave. We have 7 songs waiting for the final touch!!! 🙂

And BTW, thank u guys!!! During the time of shoot, after coming to the room in complete exhaustion, when I read ur comments, it felt great.  🙂 Sorry for not leaving any replies though. I ll be back in track soon.
